1. April 23
2100 block Mahood Road
Police received a report of a snowmobile theft. The snowmobile is described as a red 2008 Polaris Dryden 700 valued at $17,000. The snowmobile was stolen from the residence between 2:30 and 6 pm on April 23. 5300 block Timberlane Avenue
Police responded to a report of a break and enter to a building. A storage area was broken into, and a number of items were stolen. These items were located a short time later in the bushes near the building. 3. April 24
Willingdon Avenue
While on patrol, police observed a vehicle as it collided with a hydro pole. Police attempted to stop the vehicle, but the driver fled the scene. Patrols were made in the area, and the vehicle was located on Marine Avenue. The driver was located on foot a short distance from the vehicle. The 37-year-old male driving the vehicle showed signs of impairment and was requested to provided a breath sample. He has since been charged with impaired driving and is to appear in court in July.
