Premier announces that K-12 classes will be put on hold as a result of COVID-19 precautions. Schools in Powell River and throughout the province will be shut down, as part of sweeping new measures to contain the spread of the novel coronavirus. This comes after the province enacted measures to limit public gatherings and cancel events.
