RAFFLE RESULTS: The Rotary Clubs of Powell River recently presented 2021 winners of the Great Grocery Raffle Plus with gift cards in the amount of $2,000 each. The prizes came from five businesses: Canadian Tire, Save-On-Foods, FreshCo, Pacific Point Market and Quality Foods.
Sponsor representatives and winners on hand, pictured above, included [from left] Penny Young (Pacific Point Market); winners Mike Gauthier, Sonja Sundqvist and Mark Gisborne (with son Brock); Rotary fundraising chair Monica Peckford; Angela De Vita, picking up the prize for her sister Marian; winners Gerry and George Childress; and Natalie Vallee (Canadian Tire).
The draw took place on Saturday, December 11.
