Organizers of Rockin' the Beach met with River Kids' founder Cait Holmes [centre, with banner] and friends on Friday, September 29 to deliver the proceeds of the fundraising concert, which took place on August 5 at Willingdon Beach Rotary Pavilion.
The inaugural concert raised $3,250 for River Kids, a non-profit that provides financial support to local families facing children's health challenges.
Organizers want to thank local businesses and community members for their kind donations, and are already looking forward to next year's concert.
