In the qathet region, the community has a long history of coming together to focus on issues of economic inclusion, diversity and supporting children to thrive. Our health and well-being are determined by the social, economic and physical environments we live in – this means things like our income, housing, education, life in early childhood, access to health care, nutritious food and sense of belonging to our community.
The Regional Social Planning Program invites all members of the community: neighbours, friends, business owners, young and old, whether you are new or have lived in the qathet region for generations.
We invite you to join us at one of two workshops to discuss ideas to strengthen the fabric of community, to deepen connections and relationships, so that together we can create a region where everyone thrives.
Wednesday, July 6, from 6 to 8:30 pm
Saturday, July 9, from noon to 3 pm
Attendance is by registration only. Given that food and beverages will be provided we ask that you RSVP with the day you can attend by contacting Ashley Van Zwietering by email: [email protected] or phone: 604-485-8613.
Event details will be emailed following registration.
Bring to the community conversation your ideas, stories and passions. Raise your questions, recommendations and concerns.
