PRISMA on the Beach takes over Powell River's waterfront on Saturday, June 17. The highly-anticipated annual event at Willingdon Beach Park includes a variety of food and craft vendors in addition to the music.
The free, family-friendly concert features the PRISMA (Pacific Region International Summer Music Association) Festival Orchestra and will showcase highlights from PRISMA’s 2023 repertoire, as well as Tla'amin Nation singers and drummers.
Vendors open at 5 pm. Music starts one hour later. Attendees are encouraged to be their own chairs and blankets.
PRISMA continues until June 24 with concerts at a variety of venues in the qathet region.
