Powell River Clansman Pipe Band finished second in its category at Campbell River’s Highland Gathering and Salmon Festival on Saturday, August 10.
Playing a lively “Quick March Medley” in the Grade 5 Category, Clansman members claimed a podium finish at the annual event.
Several members of the band also played in the solo competitions and took home at least one medal each.
Clansman Pipe Band’s next local public appearance will be in Townsite on Remembrance Day.
