On January 18, qathet Art Centre held an artist reception for Conrad Sarzynick and his exhibit Resurface, which features hand-cut collage and wood sculptures.
Sarzynick, who was on hand to answer questions, also provided a poetry reading. The exhibit is on display until March 11 at the art centre, 215 - 6975 Alberni Street.
Sarzynick began sculpting wood and making hand-cut collage in the 1990s. The artist, who is also a poet and painter, moved to the qathet region in 2011.
