Timberlane Quilters Guild hosted its Celebration of Quilts earlier this month, which featured a colourful display of close to 200 quilts from qathet region artists.
In addition to quilts, there were also vendors, a tea room and workshop stations where visitors could try their hand at quilting.
The show was held over two days at Dwight Hall on Saturday, March 25, and Sunday, March 26. The guild had not been able to host a show since 2019 due to COVID-19 restrictions.
Timberlane Quilters Guild started in 1987 with 12 members and now has more than 65. The guild has a weekly sit and stitch gatherings, monthly workshops and demos. For more information, go to the guild’s website at tqguild.home.blog.
