Townsite Jazz Festival returned last month, consuming the Powell River neighbourhood (plus one performance on Lasqueti Island) for three days and featuring a dynamic lineup of artists who performed in varied configurations at multiple venues from April 11 to 14.
Once again, organizers put together an eclectic group of local, regional and national musicians. The festival debuted in 2017 and continues to gain momentum since pausing in 2020 and 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
