Warm socks, scarves, hats, gloves and mittens are being collected on behalf of North Island-Powell River MP Rachel Blaney.
The collected items will be distributed to those in need, in time for the wintry, cold weather ahead. The request is for new or secondhand items in good condition.
Those with items to donate can call 604.489.2286 for pick up, or they can drop the items off on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at Blaney’s Powell River community office at 4683 Marine Avenue.
