Velma passed away peacefully at the age of 92; she has gone to join her beloved husband Jack and her son Brad.
She will be greatly missed and is survived by her daughter Kellie (John), grandchildren Jennifer and Justin, great-grandchildren Landen and Rozalee, her brother Roy Davenport and many nieces and nephews.
Velma spent many years enjoying her time living in Powell River. She never wanted to live anywhere else and enjoyed watching the boats on the water from her window.
Special thanks to the home-care nurses and Evergreen Care Unit staff for all their loving care.
