Edith Nadin’s life on earth began in Edmonton, AB, and concluded in Powell River, BC. She lived a life surrounded by bright yellow warmth, never far from a steaming cup of Tetley tea.

Her listening ear was unfailing, and her kindness was unconditional. Her faith in God led her to numerous countries on missions trips where she cared for anyone and everyone who came nearby. She quietly supported members of the local community in her public works as well as in the privacy of her home, with the unwavering belief that all people deserve love, respect and a safe place to go.

For many, she was a beacon of light and hope, reminding everyone that the person next to you has a story worth listening to.

Edith is now survived by her children John, Ron (Trish) and Laura (Bill), as well as her grandchildren, and fondly remembered by the many others she loved who called her grandma, mom, neighbour and friend.

The Nadin family would like to especially thank Willingdon Creek Village for keeping her comfortable these last few years and the Evangel Church for being her steadfast family in faith.

A celebration of life will be held for her on October 29, 2022, at the Evangel Church at 1pm. In lieu of flowers, a donation to Powell River Youth and Family or the Salvation Army would be appreciated.
