NEW ADDITION: This stunning log longhouse-inspired gathering structure was recently constructed at Shelter Point Park on Texada Island, near the swings.
Still to come are interpretive signs, fine gravel for the floor and finishing touches to the built-in cooking barbecue.
The Indigenous-style structure provides a covered gathering space for public use.
