DELICIOUS DONATION: Dairy Queen donated five dollars from every cake sold at its Powell River location in May to Laszlo Tamasik Dance Academy’s (LTDA) Disney dance parade team.
The $845 raised went directly to the dancers’ entry fees. On hand to accept the donation from Dairy Queen manager Tarun Chopra were dancers Isla Dunbar, Lily Dunbar and Haedyn Keil.
A total of 14 dancers from LTDA will be going to the Disney in October.
